Life Update
Notes from Austin + Big News!
Dolls, I took notes this trip. Little moments I didn’t want to forget. But first, some big news!
We have a new brand partner and I am so pleased to announce it.
You already know how intentional I am about who I bring into this space. So when I tell you that Vionic Shoes have been part of my personal body transition for over ten years... worn quietly, bought with my own money, through every size and every season... you understand why this feels like a full circle moment.
Earlier this year I welcomed Ro.co as the GLP-1 parter in my whole life health journey. Today I am proud to welcome Vionic Shoes as a partner on this journey as I get my steps in, care for my joints and stay stylish along the way. Vionic Shoes designed by a podiatrist, with a supportive footbed. The shoes go up to a size 13 and wide widths ave available.
They even gave me my own link where you can shop the shoe capsule I wore in Austin!
If you have been thinking about Vionic... now is your moment.
You get 15% off your order when you shop vionicshoes.com/cece and use code CECE15 at checkout.
When you do this, I get commission credit that goes directly back into building this community... the certifications, the content, the companion resources I’m creating for all of us navigating this whole life health transition together.
That’s the kind of partnership I’m proud of (and I think you’ll love the shoes!) Happy Shopping, dolls!
Now, on to my notes from Austin… Here’s what I wrote down.
The conference.
There is something quietly beautiful about walking into a room without any anxiety about being seen/perceived. My outfit was handled. My joints were supported. My loafers did not require a single thought. And because none of that was taking up space in my brain... I got to just be in the room, learn and receive what was for me. That’s the glamour nobody talks about. The kind that lives underneath the look.

The evenings.
There so much beauty in a warm night in a new city with good people around you. The kind of conversations that make you feel less alone in your journey. I saved those hours for the intimate moments with friends and family... good food, slow walks, my toes finally free for the day in my Evie slide sandals. I am collecting these evenings like gems.

Congress Avenue.
I let my local tour guide show me around, we didn’t have a plan. Just an easy afternoon and cute comfy sneakers. Wandered into good music coming out of a garden and cozied up there longer than we meant to. That’s the thing about learning a new city... it teaches you something if you let it.

Barton Springs.
Cold water. Warm sun. I untied my top, left it on the grass, and let the sun kiss my body from head to toe (apparently that’s legal here!)
I have been doing the quiet work of building a body positive mindset for a long time. Long enough that even now... navigating loose skin, a changing shape, a body that is somewhere between who I was and who I’m becoming... I still felt like myself in that water. I’m grateful for that. I really am.
I want to remember exactly how that felt.

During this trip, I realized my swimsuits are officially too big now. A swim haul is coming and I have a lot of feelings about it. Stay close.
All my love,
CeCe xx
